AMd introduced the Radeon Pro W7900 & W7800 professional graphics adapters.
AMD introduced a graphics card with 48 GB of memory and a price of $4,000. Radeon Pro W7900 & W7800 announced
In this pair we could be most interested in the older model, because its specifications are more impressive. However, we will start with the younger one. The thing is that Radeon Pro W7900 is expected to be almost a full technical copy of RX 7900 XTX. It has the same Navi 31 GPU in full configuration with 6144 stream processors, the same 384-bit bus, except that there is 48 GB of memory. But Radeon Pro W7800 has almost no analogue among other gaming cards, and probably just shows us what will be the RX 7800 XT or XTX (it is not clear yet what will be the name of the older version).
The Radeon Pro W7800 has 4480 stream processors and 32GB along with a 256-bit bus. That is, the older RX 7800 may be the same, but with 16 GB of memory.
It can also be noted that the GPU frequency of both models is about 2.5 GHz. The TDP of the senior model is 295W, and the junior model is 260W. As for performance, in the same order it is 61 and 45 TFLOPS. By comparison, the Radeon Pro W6800 has a performance of only 17.8 TFLOPS.
Of the rest, there is support for DisplayPort 2.1 and 8K video encoding and decoding at 60 fps with the AV1 codec.
The Radeon Pro W7900 is priced at $4,000 and the Radeon Pro W7800 will cost $2,500.
