As the name suggests, the Instinct 2X Solar uses a solar panel in the watch, providing extra power on the go. Previous Garmin watches were capable of providing a little extra power during the day. Now, however, the manufacturer claims that the Instinct 2X Solar can provide unlimited battery life.

The watch features a 1.1-inch monochrome MIP display with a resolution of 176 x 176 pixels. It can track heart rate, sleep patterns, blood oxygen saturation, different types of workouts, and so on. There is water protection (10 ATM), GPS, GLONASS and Galileo are supported, contactless payment Garmin Pay and a built-in flashlight.

The special Tactical Edition provides additional features, including a special display mode for reading with night vision devices, Stealth “spy” mode without saving GPS coordinates and with completely disabled communication, a ballistic calculator, and a “kill switch” that allows you to quickly clear all watch memory.
Both models are already available for purchase, with the Instinct 2X Solar priced at $450 and the Tactical Edition at $500.
